I am a software engineer, cellist, triathlete, and climber.
I have spent most of my life as a cellist, earning various degrees in the field and contributing to my local community through teaching and performing.
Currently, I am most interested in the world of computer programming and systems architecture. I enjoy working with C#, Python, and Javascript, as well as AWS services and Linux. I would also like to learn more about OpenStack, blockchain, and information security.
Since moving to beautiful Boulder Colorado, I have become quite active in the outdoor community.
I completed the Ironman Boulder 140.6, 2019 and the Ironman Boulder 70.3 in 2017. I have also biked over the Alps in Switzerland.
I love to climb, trail run, hike, snowboard, swim, and sip some coffee in a hammock.

I recently took several online courses related to C#. These exercises demonstrate a basic functional ability to use classes, constructors, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces, and delegates.
All of my personal websites are hosted on an linux EC2 instance using NGINX. Before switching to NGINX I used Apache. I have experimented with various AWS services in the process of studying for the AWS solutions architect exam. My work with systems architecture started as a side interest and has evolved into skills I am continually working to improve and expand upon.
Websocket-driven application with a Python backend to track behavioral changes and trends, using a PostgreSQL database deployed on an AWS EC2 instance.
